Over the past few years, I have worked as a quantity surveyor and project manager for a renowned contractor, where I honed my skills in managing project costs, increasing value for money, and maintaining quality standards. Throughout my time as a quantity surveyor and project manager, I developed a strong appreciation for the importance of using data to make informed decisions and track key performance indicators. Specifically, I found that tracking project costs and using data to optimize project experiences was critical to success. This experience steered my passion for data science. With expertise in data analytics tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Cognos Analytics, and SQL, I can effectively leverage and present data to superiors and stakeholders for efficient decisions that help achieve organizational goals. My goal is to continue to grow as a quantity surveyor and project manager while expanding my knowledge and expertise in data science.
